There are very few movies in Indian Cinema which uphold the very essence of cinema as a medium of expression. As it is said picture can say a thousand words, then "Begum Jaan" tells you about woman, freedom, history, humanity home and many heart touching issues of a non speaking society.

Taking a backdrop of post independence event on partition, Begum Jaan has connected the present day woman and scenario of woman of that era. Director Srijit Mukherji bags full points for keeping an eye over the details in shorts and frames. Movie has a great grip as far as performances, screenplay, dialogues and direction is concerned.

As we all know the credibility of Vidya Balan as a performer, she is awesomely outstanding as Begum Jaan. Supported by experiences like Ila Arun, Rajit Kapoor, Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajesh Sharma and all army of wonderful actors.... Special mention for Gauahar Khan and Chunky Pandey, their performances has a very different mark in the movie.

Its a masterpiece for a sensible cinema lover. Audiences who are their for entertainment please don't critic this movie. Its simply a 10/10.

Its a must watch...

When a movie has the name Sunny Leone in the cast list, expectations of the audiences doesn't go far. Ek Paheli Leela made some space in the promos by its entertaining and really good songs, but still on the expectations it didn't had much fate. But Bobby Khan as a director did a really good job and made Leela a Surprisingly Good Movie. Really Entertaining, I must say. Its a good pace movie with its own thrills, which should be credited to the writers. They have written a great, interesting, and a twisting climax. Seeing two faces after a long time was great, Mohit Alahwat and Jas Arora after such a long gap. And thumbs-up to Jas Arora for his performance as Bikram Singh, when you have considered to be as chocolate boy in raster years. Sunny has again done a hard working job to improve herself as an actress, and praise her for that. The most beautiful highlight of the movie is the Cinematography and Choreography of the songs. Hats-off to the person who is behind the camera. Specially frames in the desert are really great. The colors and mood has been captured beautifully through out the movie.

In totality its worth the money. And again kudos to Bobby Khan.

As it is said for the movie, the plot has been inspired by the famous Aarushi murder case from the real past. The adaptation of the base idea has been beautifully executed and characterization is superb. Casting is the solid base and writing takes full marks. When a film maker attempts to show the ugly face of the society of millionaires, its becomes a responsibility to show it in its true color. Director has done a great job in execution and presentation of the movie. And when the audiences know the facts before hand it becomes more tough to make the whole story more interesting and exciting.

It has the power to make you glued till the end.

First half is all being the mysterious one and even the 80% of second half goes on the same mystery path, and at the end it is revealed. But yes, movie doesn't end till the last minute, for the audiences and that's the best thing, for a murder mystery thriller. Its a must watch for all those audiences who really like meaningful and quality cinema.
