Starring Michael Madsen, Stephen Baldwin, Brianne Davis and Lucie Pohl, "Magi" is directed by Turkish director Hasan Karacadağ. The horror film recounts the adventures of American journalist Olivia Watkins who comes to Istanbul following the murder of her sister.
I enjoy this, The movie overall is pretty good, but I'm always a little cynical, and a big part of me wonders how closely this follows the facts of the true story.
well directed, and does its best to maintain a spooky mood (but doesn't quite achieve that goal). If you are looking for cliché horror look elsewhere.
If you're looking for blood and guts, look elsewhere. This film will grab your imagination and whipsaw your emotions into very dark places. Lucie Pohl is absolutely amazing as Olivia Watkins. Good acting. Special effects were overdone. Whether you're a believer in the supernatural or not, I thought it was interesting and scary at sometimes.
