No spoilers here, just a major annoyance and apparent lack of in-depth writing. When the unsub has an apparent connection to a radio station, you would think it would be common sense to explore that connection in the story. However, after watching it twice to see if I missed it, I was deeply disappointed in the writers that this particular line of reasoning was ignored.
I always love this show and the characters, but this little flaw in this story line aggravated me a bit. I'd be interested in knowing how this was overlooked by all involved. When I first saw it I was curious what they would find, sadly it was never addressed.

I still love this show, I'm currently binge watching the season on one of my Dish channels. Love the Cat shows, they're always pretty entertaining. Poor Spencer, he just can't seem to rid himself of her. The thing that got me was the blooper that Prentiss got through all the editing. She said one line that completely got through all editing. "She's not making this hard." I had to rewind to double check what I heard and that was the exact line delivered. I'm not sure how that got through, but I'm hyper-sensitive to those things and it's hard for me to get past it. All in all it's still a good show, good enough for me to risk a subscription to view the episodes on the streaming service that picked it up after the debacle that took it off the air.
This was a great episode. I am always amazed at the story line and subject matter these writers come up with. Wish we had more of that in 2024, it is getting rare. This one was especially creepy and all too real episode to believe. The dark side of the psychotic mind is a scary place for sure. The acting and connection these character's have make this such a great show. I'm so glad it was picked up by Paramount after it was dropped by the network.
There is one thing that seems prevalent, and it's a small thing, but it just kind of bugs me. There have been several episodes where the team refers to the subject as the "unsub" even after the "unidentified subject" has been technically identified. Like I said, small thing, just bothers me.
