This movie is better than I thought it would be. I initially watched it because of the actor, Dermot Mulroney. I judged it a " 4 " right away, but I gave it a chance and realized there are self-centered women out there just like the daughter. It seems like she was way out there, but I have to admit I know people like her exist. I liked her gay friend who told her the truth about her bad decisions and bad behavior. I liked Josh the most in the movie; he did a good job of being authentic, realistic, and funny.
The daughter learns a lesson, (I don't believe that is a spoiler) and I like happy endings, so I recommend this movie. Please give it a good rating if you like it. If it can help someone grow, it's always nice to help someone get better.

This movie is a charming remake of Scrooge. The casting is well done, and the writing captures that warm sense of Christmas cheer. While the romantic subplot is minimal, the story's focus on the Christmas spirit works beautifully. Some of the humor leans toward the silly side, but it feels intentionally lighthearted to appeal to a broader audience. I especially loved the diner scene, that kiss was epic, in my opinion and I appreciated that it didn't serve as the ending, as is common in many Hallmark films. Overall, it's a delightful Christmas movie that delivers cozy holiday feels and stays true to the classic Hallmark formula.
I've watched many Hallmark movies over the past five years, and one thing I've learned is that ratings don't always reflect how personally meaningful a movie can be. This particular film stood out to me. Both main characters delivered strong performances-the male lead, whom I've seen in other roles, brought a refreshing and distinct energy to this character. I truly appreciated seeing this different side of his acting. The female lead was equally convincing and brought real heart to the story.
The time-travel element was handled thoughtfully, and the writing felt both creative and engaging. I recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys well-crafted fiction. Personally, I'd like to imagine that maybe, just maybe-it isn't fiction after all.
