A odd movie where at times you don't know whether to laugh or cry.
You will feel like doing both at various times through this Australian made movie. Bubby is a product of child abuse and mental torture who never went outside of his mother's house. I'm not sure about his age, but he has a simple, child like mind. Sometimes compassionate, sometimes brutally violent, we really don't know if he knows the difference. Eventually he get away from his Moms house, and we follow the wild antics and crazy places he ends up. The guy who was the lead actor was very good in his role. (As were the others). The one unbelievable thing may have been the very close and intense relationships he makes in his journey, but those interactions are what makes the film what it is.
View this film with caution.

I understand it's a couple different versions of this film released. I saw an English dubbed "Slaughter in San Francisco". The other is called Yellow Faced Tiger, I believe.
To me this is the type of movie that's perfect when looking for an action packed, humorous movie that wasn't intending to be humorous. It's a typical plot that follows two police around who are trying to stop Chuck Norris's ruthless gang of thugs. It has to be one of Chucks earliest roles. The fighting scenes are entertaining, with wild, over the top sound effects.
If you are looking for a "so bad it's good" karate movie, Slaughter in San Francisco fits the bill perfectly. The action never really slows down so you can be entertained through the whole movie. You just need the right level of expectation when watching this 1974 made movie.
