Less than one dimentional characters serving hours and hours of cliches. Every sentence sounds like a rehearsed speech. Every single dialogue consist of at least 5 «words of wisdom». It is not only boring but utterly painful.
When i first started watching in treatment i was a bit afraid to meet another psychologist-cliché-drama, but was surprised. The first episodes was quite the opposite! a fine and sophisticated balance between psychologist parody and emotionally challenging parts. I was looking forward to the second season, but it was a huge disappointment! The series has become a cliché. The more parodic distance is gone, and replaced by more exaggerated emotions. It's almost embarrassing to watch. I also think the acting is bad, even from time to time Gabriel Byrne, but that's probably because of weak story! Let's hope HBO replace the writers of season 2 when making the next season. If not they've lost one viewer (for what that matters....)
