  • Jackass At It's Best

For those who have never seen, let alone heard of, the Jackass franchise, the best possible way to describe it is to explain what its not. Its not a family orientated form of entertainment, its not for the weak hearted, and most importantly, its not something that disappoints and Jackass 3-D is no exception. Each hilarious stunt looks as if the writers took great pride into thinking them up...which also makes me ponder...what were they thinking? If someone were to tell you that Jackass' methods of merrymaking were crude and unorthodox they would be 100% percent right,However, as the film industry has changed over the years, it seems as if vulgar behavior is what most people desire for good amusement. So, if dropping a duce or getting hit in the groin is what the people want, then let there be Jackass. This film personifies humor, and will leave you in stitches on the way home, I give Jackass 3-D the best possible score it could receive, an 8 out of 10.

  • A Pathetic excuse for an action flick.

*huff* So i bet most of you decided to read this reviews on how simply amazing The Expendables was, well if thats what your hoping for, please skip this review. Every last single aspect of this movie was a disgrace to the whole genre of action film.I already knew in advance that the plot was not the money maker of this movie, however, i would've appreciated a little more effort in making each scene flow smoothly into the next. One moment Stallone is fighting his way through a hoard of Spaniard soldiers, and the next Statham is trying to reunite with his inpatient girlfriend. It didn't make any sense.I went into this film ready to see giant battle sequences with every single member in the cast that the trailer perpetually advertised, but instead I was given low quality action, atrocious dialouge, and scenes that that simply felt half done. For example, the big cameo with Arnold and Stallone, felt over played and...quite frankly... really awkward, kinda like when you run into a old friend at a store and both of you just stand there with nothing to say. Overall this film was entirely overrated and personally left me feeling ripped off. I give this disaster of a movie 2 out of 10.You have been warned.

  • Not met to its full potential....

About 10 minutes in, i realized that this movie was going to be a disappointment. Not that i expected a modern day classic anyway. With cast that makes you chuckle just by saying their names, this movie had a lot going for itself.Call it bad directing or just flat out bad writing, this film was not created to its utmost potential and i feel that the creators underestimated the actors amazing skill in drilling a hole straight through our funny bone.Besides a handful of hilarious moments,Dinner for Schmucks was filled with cheap and generic humor. As far as the cast's performance, i felt that Steve Carell SAVED THIS FILM. He plays a simpleminded IRS agent and has the unusual hobby of creating dioramas with deceased rodents, while Paul Rudd plays as a rising employee at a type of innovation investors company who isn't quite sure what he wants in life. As for the story, i think that its your basic comedy, a person who was having nothing but good luck hits a bump in the road, the domino effect takes place, and we all laugh at their demise.Although this is not the unsurpassed comedy of the summer, i still feel that this is not one you should pass.I give this movie 6/10, check it out.
