Most of the sequels are not as good as the first ones. Descent part 2 confirms this regulation but remains a good horror movie. The disadvantage of this movie is that it trys to imitate the first one and it gives you the sensation that you are not watching something new. Even most of the scenes are as similar as the first one. The advantages are that it has more gore scenes and a scenario that excuses the sequel. The ending is good but it does not explain why; OK Michael J. Reynolds (ed oswald) says during the movie that relatives of his were lost in the old mine but it would be good for the spectators to learn the reason for all that happen in the end. As a conclusion descent part 2 is a worth seeing movie at your home with friends and not at the cinema. hasta la vista
There are no words to describe this excellent movie.I am not Mexican but i believe that life there is as cruel as the film shows. In one side gangs and in the other proud people who try to escape from misery , poverty and seek their happiness in United states. This film has everything!Action , drama but the most important is that it makes you appreciate how lucky you are to have a PC and internet to write a review when the same time exist people who do not have a place to live and jeopardize their lifes for a better future away from their families away from their countries. A big bravo to Mexican cinema and a bigger "orale" to all Mexicans!!! hasta la vista
The movie starts and fills you with expectations for the continue. For us Greeks it is bizarre to see sakis rouvas a pop singer playing a serial killer although he manages pretty good .Unfortunately the continue is boring with no action and when you begin yawning it comes an unexpected ending to make you see this movie with more sympathy. The result is not that bad if you take under consideration that it is a low budget movie. It is worth to see it if you do not have anything special to do. Looking forward seeing more Greek presences in the future in Hollywood. If you are curious to see Greek horror movies i suggest you "to kako(evil)" and "to kako 2 in the time of heroes"
