  • A show you'll either love or hate. I loved it.

A great show that youll eithet love or hate.

Its amazing how much of the original show translates to reality.

A cross between survivor, big brother and a japanese game show.

With certainily interesting characters plenty of heroes and villians.

Its amazing how much drama can be created when hundreds of humans are forced to live with one another and battle for millions of dollars in a real environment.

Not sure why its getting such a bad rating. Its certainly one of the better reality tv shows ive ever seen.

  • Bad horror/sci fi / Average social commentary

I really wanted to like this show but in the end it was a huge disappoitment. It tried way too much to be social commentary while sacrifising character development, plot and suspense.

Also alot of the social issues raised have already been done many times before and with alot more tension and realism. So it doesn't really add anything groundbreaking there, just imitation. But nowadays any social commentary automatically makes it great to some no matter if the commentary is actually done poorly.

Then the biggest issue there's no build up and suspense at all with the monsters and they are really just an after though and thrown in there which is a shame.

That said, the main actor is good and looks stunning and has elements of a great show. But in the end the story isn't there and no matter how they dress it up or how much sub-text there is its just average. 3 episodes in, I can't do it anymore I'm out.

  • Common sense

Most of the time they make more sense and have better judgement then most of Mainstream media on big issues.
