This movie had too much of the older brother, and not enough of the "dancer" and the younger brother... the ending left a lot of questions unanswered and left the watcher wanting more... give that and you should see a resurgence of views of this and the 2nd... enough to redeem and resurrect this movie. I liked it, it was a bit slow paced at times, but it really sets up for a home run of a sequel. I am not always into these types of movies, but I really liked this one,... love the integration of more than one type of genre to interest multiple audiences. This is the type of movie that could create fans across multiple eras and multiple cultures. Much potential.
really if you waste your time watching this movie, it has decent actors, but it's so homophobic & degrading to people.. not just women... it would take a brain dead person to actually like this movie... i've watched 1:05 of the 1:28 minutes and i'm turning it off. It says i have to write a longer review and i've pretty much covered the whole movie so far... the movie is just as stupid as the plot. to the casting director, producer, actors, i give you credit for doing your best to make a horrible movie worth watching. You have to have talent to do that. To the writer... you should go get a job at burger king if you spent more than 10 minutes on the writing of this awful flick.
if you want to watch a real movie about the military then you should watch memorial day (2011) that's a good movie... this move (while supposed to be an action film) was not realistic at all.. i could go into detail about how it wasn't realistic but it would be a waste of both our time. Don't get me wrong... this movie was tastefully done... for it to be all fluff and no real substance ... i mean if you have a really low Intelligence quotient then you'll probably love it... but then again you probably don't care about plot or believability you just want some good actors and some pretty actresses and you want explosions and shooting and blood... well, this movie is for you... however if you have more than say... 5 brain cells that aren't devoted to your next buzz ... you'll probably want to skip it. Enjoy :)
