I went in the early 1980's, and there were 2000 students at the time, and of course I didn't know everybody and didn't know everything that was going on. Still, even though Cameron Crowe reportedly infiltrated a high school, what this movie showed was not like what I saw.
Some people did date each other, but most did not, at least not classmates. Boys talked about girls and girls talked about boys. There was sex education (as there was in junior high school), and there probably was sex, but I never heard of anybody being pregnant, let alone getting an abortion. Events like that would have been impossible to suppress.
One popular (and smart) classmate did end up getting on drugs, breaking into his friend's house, and going to prison. He has since fallen into obscurity.

The story is about a man whose wife dies in a car accident, and her heart is donated to a woman who has had a defective heart all her life. The rest you can guess simply from the title.
Basically, the story is of a romance, with nothing unpredictable about it. Some more gruff actors such as Caroll O'Connor and Jim Belushi have small roles in the story, though they don't add much of anything. Passable, but nothing special.

Doctor Mabuse has been sentenced to an insane asylum, yet the director of it is mesmerized by this patient, who talks to him about a dominion of crime for the world. A group of ordinary criminals is following such plans-how does Mabuse know about them? One policeman is on a quest to solve this mystery, with eventual help from a disillusioned member of this criminal gang.
People compare this to the then-upcoming Nazi regime, but this movie clearly predates it, with the talk of starting an inflationary crisis and poison gas throughout the countryside-more about the bad direction the Weimar republic was going.
