Yes, I only watched 4 episodes. Trust me, that was more than enough to get the gist of this show. It's typical Netflix fare. Drawn out unnecessarily at 8 episodes, most of which are nudging an hour in length. If it's meant to be a comedy, it's totally unfunny. If it's trying to be a drama, there's little. It's just noisy and tiresome. If you're meant to be shocked, you probably won't be. The one bit of fun is spotting all the supporting stars. Many of which you'll recognise from recent Netflix flops you also didn't like!

Jeff Goldblum does his usual offbeat Jeff Goldblum shtick. If he's having any fun, he's hiding it well. None of the other stars, all competent, to be fair, did anything to make me want to single them out.

Janet McTeer recently said in an interview that she hopes there'll be a second season as there's "so much more to do". Don't get your hopes up, love, is all I'll say. Kaos will probably go the way of Dead Boy Detectives and be a one season wonder.

Loot is OK, but nothing special. It looks fantastic and has a good cast, but there's something missing. It's never particularly funny, and the characters somehow don't connect like they should do. To be honest, I was quite surprised it got a second season... What I've seen of the latter, hasn't improved things. I was hoping they'd have fixed the issues with the first season, but it's just more of the same really.

At least the episodes are relatively short. That's appreciated in these days of bloated, unnecessarily drawn out series.

But do we need a third season? I would say no. Loot passes the time, but that's about it.

Season one of Trollied was excellent. Season two wasn't bad, but there were signs the show was starting to struggle. By the third season, all was lost. Andy and Kieran left early on. Rats deserting a sinking ship for sure. Season 3 also heralded a new trend for the show. Unwelcome new characters that debuted in the first episode and stayed all the way through to the end of the series. So you get Richard France, painfully unfunny after 2 minutes, but he was featured heavily throughout the series. Also, Gavin's girlfriend Anna. A dreadful character who never raised as much as a titter in every episode she was in. Also the fishmongers who were hopeless from the first scene they were in.

Sadly this continued to happen for the rest of Trollieds' run on Sky. Who can forget Granny Rose? Dreadful from the second she first appeared. As more regular characters left, new ones who couldn't fill their shoes were introduced. Amazingly Trollied lasted for 7 seasons. Each one worse than the last. Obviously Sky liked the show even if no one else did!
