I love food network and their competitive cooking shows. Most of their reality shows are serious and the contestants are trying to win some serious bragging rights in the culinary community.
This show is not that.
This show is hilarious and quirky. It's a reminder that many people don't even understand the fundamentals of cooking. The basics of holding a knife correctly are lost on these contestants.
I laugh out loud every single episode. The editing deserves an Emmy.
The host/cohosts add quality to the show and give real cooking advice to home cooks. I've learned a lot from watching this show but mostly I tune in for the laughs.
RIP Chef Anne.

Let's start with the acting and directing being a 10/10.
Next, connecting with a movie or series that uses smart phones and social media as a major plot point can be tough, if not impossible. It can often times feel disengaging for the viewers. However, this mini series made it feel seamlessly apart of the story without being distracting.
If you're someone who gets bored because every tv show these days has far too many seasons or gets canceled while you're still invested, I highly recommend this show. Every episode is streaming so you can't be left hanging dry, I'm so tired of that.
It told a screwed up, yet beautiful tale of mental health and how it effects the people around them. The pace is fast and it doesn't have any boring lulls. I binged it in an entire day.

This is like nothing else I've ever watched. A genre of it's own. It's not scary but it's not NOT scary. It's not gore but it's not NOT gore.
It's a coming of age movie for adults with a twisted view and concept.
Completely unique. And I am a big fan.
It's not scary in the sense you can't fall asleep without wondering... what's lurking outside, what's waiting to grab my feet from under my bed or what's watching me from inside my closet. But it will burn some weird images in your brain that may produce some weird dreams.
For any fans of Demi, this is a role I have never seen her play before and she completely dominates.
It's a visual ride that I was invested in from start to finish.
