I saw this film at the premiere at Sundance in 2023. This film and the Michael J Fox biography were my two favorite films at the festival. Eugenio Derbez always does seem to do great work in each film - and even in dramas he brings humor. Definitely in my opinion this is a film to seek out.
Based on a true story of a "radical" teacher that has come to a very poor school in Mexico on the border with Texas. The school was so poor that when they were told they would get a computer the computer rep comes and just shows a photo of a computer. The radical teacher's approach inspired the students. I am looking forward to watching it again in warm climates rather than Park City, Utah.

A well made indie film that is geared to be light and funny entertainment. It's not Shakespeare but it serves its purpose. The trials of an everyman - just like many Charlie Chaplin films. 99% of this film being a day in the life of a fellow where everything goes wrong in a comedic sense as he tries to get back home. Great cameos here and there. David Born as that everyman, doesn't miss a beat - as the lead in this "The Odyssey meets Buster Keaton" esk film.
I did like that as a running gag the lead keeps ending up in the same hospital but much worse for the wear each time. Many of his trials we can all associate with. Also his reaching out to the Catholic church only to be confronted by the priest and then chased out on his ear by the very funny nun bearing an active ruler.
