This series is made for Dune book lovers and ooooh it's so giving!!! I understand why there are mixed reviews, most of the people felt in love with the Dune through movies, but fans who came from books usually don't like movies, they are too action paced and lack mystery, mysticism and oh so famous "plots within plots". This series brings the feeling books have so precisely, and this is something you have in your head while reading books 4 to 6 for example. And just like the books, it has to be judged as a whole, by I had to come here after eisode 4 and just give this thing 10 out of 10! Love it so far!
Visuals are stunning, sets and costumes look reach and amazing. Pedro Pascal is great in every scene, he's really selling all the emotions with such subtlety and minimalim. And that's about it what I've found good here.
Main actor is one of the huge problems, he always looks pale, like he is not really acting and has no real emotions. He was supposed to grab our hearts from scene one, however it somehow didn't happen. Film lacks some more time at the begining for the audiance to meet and fall in love with him, so that his motivations are more believeble and his story be more emotionally relatable.
Another huge issue is the story that goes everywhere, plot of Denzel Washington's character is just bizzare and bloated, diallogues are shallow in general...
I expected worse, but anyhow this movie left me feel numb...

To cut straight to the point - this show should be put in the dictionary next to the word "lame". 2 stars just out of the respect for good CGI work.
I was hoping bad reviews were exaggeration and I'll find some way to enjoy this show, but God no.... It feels like it's not sure if it aims to be a kids' TV movie or a brutal adult show.
Galadriel actress is not charismatic at all, and I can't connect to her or any other character. She looks like she has only one face impression and even when she cries I could bet tears were CGI.
Dialogue is cringe and it aims to be deep and meaningful, but oh boy, it's not.
We'll always have original trilogy and in some time after this show is done we'll remember it (if we do!) as a missed opportunity and huge flop.
