When you think about it, all the characters in this show are annoying. They act like immature children and think they are amazing, when actually they're quite annoying. Perhaps that's the reason this show never truly stands tall amongst the best sitcoms ever.

There are some nice moments of humour and heart here though.

There have been many heirs/pretenders to the 'Friends' crown and for me (poor finale aside) 'How I Met Your Mother' shades it over 'The Big Bang Theory'.

I thought this was a nice episode, with some good laughs and a nice sense of heart.

All of the characters are quite annoying when you think about it, but together they all sort of work and gel.

Nice, festive themed viewing.
