Sometimes when a show is canceled, you get angry, which us understandable, but eventually you move on. But there are some cancelations you just never get over. I will never forgive the cancelation of this amazing show.
Not only is this the best spider-man show period, but it's my favorite spider-man property, and my favorite animated superhero show.
To me, this show just completely understood spider-man and everything we want to see in a spider-man property, and there was soooo much potential for more.
On top of that, it was just a well made show. Good animation, great action, character development with real 3 dimensional characters (even flash Thompson got some good development). And to me, this did the black suit spider-man saga better than it's ever been done.
I've rewatched this series multiple times, and it still breaks my heart that we only got 2 seasons. I really liked friendly neighborhood spider-man, I absolutely love the spiderverse movies, I'm really enjoying tom hollands movies. But I would trade all that in a Heartbeat for more seasons of this series.

So I was finally able to watch one of my most anticipated movies of the here, Superman 2025. I wasn't able to catch in theaters so I had to wait for it to come to digital, and I will say as a long time Superman fan I enjoyed this movie a lot.
To understand why I liked it though you kind of have to know where I'm coming from, and also why I can see other people not liking it. To me, my favorite Superman stuff has always been on the small screen. Smallville is one of my favorite shows of all time, I really enjoy Superman the animated series and Justice league/justice League Unlimited, I thoroughly enjoyed Superman and Lois, I really like my adventures with Superman like to me these have always been the best representation of what Superman should be. And you can definitely see the influence that James Gunn Drew from those shows to make this movie and that's why I liked it.
In a lot of ways it felt like a Saturday morning cartoon which always felt like Superman should feel like. I thought all the characters were represented really well especially Superman. I thought that this movie absolutely nailed everything Superman is and what he should be I am getting so tired of dark, broody, evil Superman it's time for the world be reminded that Superman represents hope and the inspiration to be the best of ourselves and that's what this movie nails to me. He also feels very human you know he gets hurt, he tries to do the right thing and doesn't always think about the consequences he makes mistakes, he gets angry, but he keeps doing the right thing because that's what Superman is.
I also thought that lex Luther was really well represented here you know he's psychotic he's a criminal mastermind he's maniacal he's straight up evil in some scenes but you can also see how in his mind he thinks he's right. Probably the best on screen lex luthor I've seen other than Rosenbaum. I thought Lois lane, Jimmy olsen, the Justice gang, ma and pa kent, all very well done and very well acted and very well represented. I feel like this movie just really Nails the important things about superman and those around him. And I really enjoyed ktypto and thought everything with him was really well done.
I'm not going to act like every Superman fan is going to like this movie it is a little clunky in some areas, it very much is an already established universe that we're coming into Is Not An Origin story. If if you're only real exposure to Superman has been the Christopher Reeves movies or Snyder verse or just whats been the big screen you might not like it as much as other people do but like I said for me who's always enjoyed the shows more than the movies I thought this movie nailed everything that I love about Superman and I really hope this universe continues I want to see where this goes.

I am not the target demographic for this movie. I'm 35, don't have any kids, not a anime guy, never been into K-pop. This movie should have been doa for me. But, there's really something special here. This movie found a way to take a premise as cheesy as a kpop group who secretly fights demons and make something genuinely great. The animation is beautiful, you can definitely tell this is the same animation studio behind the spiderverse movies. The action is well done, fun and energetic. The voice acting is fantastic, delivering both humor snd emotion flawlessly. The music/soundtrack is just so good, I've had it on repeat the past few days. This movie does everything so well. When it wants to ne funny, it's hilarious. When it wants to show action, it's exciting. When it's emotional, it hits you in feels and doesn't let go. It may not be doing anything new, but it's finding new ways to use classic story telling. It's not a sequel, reboot, or a remake, but a reminder that original animated movies can be amazing. Do not sleep on this movie.
