Just like anyone else, I've waited for this show for so long. And the news / re-shoots worried me a lot, till i saw that the main team has returned to work on the project. Oh, and that trailer was so good, it give an actual hope that we are finally back to where we've been before. Finally, marvel + beloved Daredevil.
And it was completely crushed when I've started to watch the show.
This series are nothing, but an empty shell of what was before. The story, the characters, everything has no sense, no connection, no true emotions. It feels just like any other marvel's TV shows or movies in the past years.
The logic of everyone is absent. I don't trust a single character in this show except Matt (no always), and Punisher. That's it. The rest is just bland empty figures. And don't get me started on the villains.
I've completed the show and i can't remember a single scene from it, or story in general. What was it about? What's the critical idea behind it? Where shall we go next? I don't want to know, because there is nowhere left to go after that.
The good parts are the action sequences, but not all of them since we have tons of cheap CGI mixed up to ruin the general perception of such scenes.
In the end, Daredevil Born again is yet another Frankenstein monster created to milk those who loved DD before. Playing on our feelings, promising us everything we've loved and destroying under a good blanket of "We have old team! It will be brutal! Just like before! He is back!", while in reality.. Sad.

The movie has great source material. Those (just like me) who waited for an interesting take on the original graphic novel will be highly disappointed with this movie.
Instead of having this melancholic and unusual take on the source material, we get probably the most boring and "safe" movie possible.
The overall story is woven from 99% of the stereotypes you could ever imagine. There is literally nothing new or original in this story-it's like a Frankenstein's monster, which is a huge disappointment.
The story is very standard and banal; you can predict the whole plot 10 minutes in. The characters have no chemistry, and logic is nonexistent.
The lore and the story are as bad as everything else. The movie feels disjointed in every way.
The only good things are the visuals and some bot designs-thanks to the original source material.
In the end, I can only recommend this movie if you have nothing else to watch or just need something to fill your time. But on a larger scale, this movie is a big disappointment-another safe and sterile movie, a piece of chewing gum created just to keep up subscription numbers and nothing else.

The score for this movie is very-very low, which saddens me, because this movie.. Is not that bad?
The story and the general idea are pretty simple: Hellboy and his partner get into trouble and end up in a godforsaken village to go on a "side quest." I know this is not what you'd expect if you've seen the previous movies, but this one is significantly less funded. Twenty million dollars nowadays could only bring you a good indie movie, and this one is exactly that.
Don't get me wrong, there is a whole set of problems, that will surely push away most of the auidence, which i don't want to pin-point, considering how low-budget the movie is.
It is worth your time if you are okay with slow-paced, atmospheric indie movies. The story is simple-nothing fancy or complex. The dialogues are short and straightforward, and while the action scenes are fun, they're cheap yet still enjoyable. If you're into horror and light gruesome elements, you might appreciate this.
Overall, it's done well or at a good average level.
I do recommend trying this movie. If you like the first 5-10 minutes, you'll likely enjoy the rest.
..and surely, this one is way better than the atrocious 2019 Hellboy, which still haunts my nightmares.
