I almost cannot believe that Estonians have completed such a masterpiece. Tanel Toom should receive an award for creating a movie which unites all Estonians, regardless of their age, beliefs, or social status.
The movie is a life in itself, over which characters change, your perception of them changes, and by the end it is hard to believe that all this changed so naturally and believably. I doubt anyone stepped out of the cinema without thinking through their own beliefs and attitude in the face of adversity or disappointment.

Rather hooked from start to finish, as from the very first scene you will understand that it is a movie unlike most others. Even a skeptic like me becomes quite attracted to the Utopian dream that the family is living in. Yet the writers made sure to delicately show the very obvious challenges that living in such a society will represent. Perhaps the only bit where I would have wished more variety was when the movie included people from the "normal society". If there would have been people from a balanced and well-rounded background that met the protagonist's family, the encounter would have been interesting to watch.
Over the course of the movie it arrives at a pleasant conclusion, stating that even the most hard-headed and perhaps radical people can make compromises. And usually it is for the better.
