Crazy outstanding, the contrast between the Covid reality and this fiction is quite striking. The acting and the plot is excellent. The story is so good about the reality of the quiet idyllic town and crazy sub "no-go" zones
This is so cheeky and cheesy, what a disappointment to see Samuel Labarthe in this "Naufrage". The director has made a Theatrical performance not a series. The credibility is going down episode by episode. It is difficult to decide which of Malraux or Pompidou is the worst interpretation! Malraux is interpreted as an escapee of "La Cage aux Folles" and Pompidou looks like Don Corleon from "The GodFather". Bad, very bad...It looks like this series was designed to kill a second time De Gaulle, this time under a flood of pink marshmallows!
If you liked Broadchurch or Hinterland you will appreciate L'Accident. Brittany is not England but the characters and the plot portray well the despair of the French provincial middle class. The characters are real, you can spend sometime in Brest, Quimper or Rennes and you will this mix of people struggling to get by and enjoy their life.
