Amazing movie, funny delivery, nice rhythm. My wife, my mother and I had a great time watching this. I was really refreshing to find something with great characters. I mean all of the were great, even the bad guys. And I swear Orlando Bloom had a lot of fun doing this, I could imagine him bursting into laughter on each scene with the crew. Would love to see a behind the scenes stuff and interviews of how fun it was to make. Also loved the setting of the movie, the story, challenging enough for the characters but not too serious or complicated. Loved the little twist on the plot and the mini changes of direction. Great great fun movie.
I am truly a fan of Richard Curtis, and this movie only deepened my admiration for his storytelling mastery. His ability to weave narratives with multiple characters, each rich with their own depth and challenges, is remarkable. My wife and I absolutely loved it. What a delightful way to tell a heartwarming family story about Christmas! The movie felt fresh, agile, and fun. While it doesn't reinvent the wheel, it excels in its humor, rhythm, and unique style. The animation was charming, and we found the jokes genuinely entertaining. It gave us a wonderful, relaxing time, leaving us with warm, festive feelings.
Congratulations to all the producers and Netflix for the effort, the idea, the drama, the suspense and the real faces and reactions! My wife and I really enjoyed all the different scenarios, the clever games, the lighting. Also it was a great combination of games of chance and games of ideation and strategy. It was really a monumental show with so many things to share and very close to the real drama Squid Game! Also congratulations to all the finalists! I can't imagine the things they went through were really fun and crazy and riveting.
A true real spectacle that brought a really fun version of the Squid Game.
