Up until recently I was not aware of this show. While I was browsing amazon prime for something to watch, I stumbled onto this show, and I fell in love. Amy and Karma are great characters, characters that you can't help but to root for. And the battle between Shane and Lauren is both funny and charming. The story line is fresh and finally set in a more modern way of thinking. I believe for the most part that this is how high school is now. It was like this even when I left high school 4 years ago. There is absolutely nothing that I don't love about this show. I have watched the first season twice already and I probably watch even more in the time spent waiting for season 2.
I just recently watched seasons 1-3 on Netflix, and I have to say, I am hooked! This is a great show. It reminds me a lot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but that is okay because I loved that show too. I was never bored when watching this show. There's comedy, action, love, and drama which always keeps it interesting. The characters/Actors are lovable and believable. It is usually hard for me to find a show where I don't hate at least one character, but with Lost Girl, I love all the characters! The writing is good and fun with a lot of puns, which I always find enjoyable. I Can't wait until Season 4 is up on Netflix so that I can be ready for Season 5. Anyone who is a big science fiction fan should give this show a shot.
