This isn't your typical stand-up, and I didn't realize how much I needed this.
I think Sandler is trying to convey with this show that you're not supposed to take life too seriously. Life can be sad, sudden, joyful, and it will go on. I recognized all these emotions while watching the show. I haven't laughed this much in a while. I also felt other emotions, and it's comforting to know that Sandler and other celebrities experience what I/we feel.
In life, things will happen that you didn't expect, and you just have to hold on and go with the flow.
I believe if you've lived long enough, you will appreciate this stand-up very much.

I loved the Netflix adaptation! Finally a show keeping to its roots!!! Thank you for one Netflix.
I just read IGN's review "...it falls short because it wants to be an anime instead of it's own thing.." who ever wrote this was dropped as a child and is one of the flat earthers that never has seen the curve on the horizon in the one peace anime show! Dude that's all what we want! And can you make up your mind? If they want to make there own thing, they get hate and if they want to keep to the source, they get hate. The fug should they do than?
It was great! And nothing wrong with it. I recommend it to all.

As a real fan of superheros, I can honestly say that this is one of my new favorite series and probably the best one out there. I know I know, you guys might disagree with shows out there like Arrow, S.H.I.E.L.D., Constantine and Gotham. Don't get me wrong, I watch all of them except for Arrow, and can't wait for the following episode.
The Flash is a long waited comic adaptation and man I'am glad they waited this long. They have good actors, exciting and new plots and the craziest effect you can see on television! This show is everything S.H.I.E.L.D. should have been from episode one. The Flash truly sets new standards for comic book adaptation.
