15 minutes in, don't care.
30 minutes in, why am I watching this?
45 minutes in, turn it off to watch football.
I have no idea why this is rated so highly, it is boring from second one, I have no idea who the characters are and really don't care. So now I have to fill in to reach 600 words even though other reviews seem to get away with less. So boring, no character development, special effects, hah, are laughable. Who are 32, who are the losers who attack, why do 33 have to mate with other areas. Gad, just a total waste of time, at lease the football game was better., More words, watch paint dry, more fun.

"Thelma" is a a fun and entertaining movie about the lives of elderly people, issues of scam calls and family with fun energy, good direction and a wonderful performance from June Squibb and Richard Roundtree. Director Josh Margolin does a pretty good job on blending comedic and dramatic elements together into the narrative with good humor, fun characters and interesting dynamics between the characters. The characters have some decent chemistry and energy together. Squibb's character was highly entertaining to observe, Richard Rountree was excellent as the suffering reluctant tag along. Mon and dad were insufferable, and the son was a typical lost soul.
The production is solid, the camerawork is okay, and the dialogue is pretty good, Margolin has a lot of fun references to Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible and he was able to add the jokes and references well into the narrative and action that is occurring in the movie. The heart in the movie is strong and Margolin clearly put a lot of passionate into this project.
It's not a documentary and stretches your credibility at times, but if you just want simple clean fun, about two old fogies breaking out of the old folks home on a scooter, this movie is for you.
