At a first glance this series seems nothing special, Just your basic fantasy zero-to-hero, harem anime.

Still catchy in its own way, but riddled with the many of the same cliches, making it seem hollow and empty but... my promise to you is it absolutely is not.

Underlying the sometimes distasteful appearance, which tries to appeal to all, is something very special. There is a depth to this show that may likely go unnoticed by the majority of viewers but there are hidden some of the most beautiful scenes and great moral lessons not at all explicit.

The relationship between mankind and the Gods is a completely under used motif that deserves endless quality exploration and this show explores it at times so beautifully.

What is true, and good and most important? We all struggle to discover and identify and so to follow the highest things we can. And amongst things that are empty, and amongst those that merely fake depth, this show comes through shining in the long run with moments and ideas that last forever.

Unlike most of the show which is an absolute delight, this episode was mostly difficult to watch for various reasons. And unfortunately I took constant breaks from it.

This is not an episode to enjoy, this is an episode that aims and likely does what the title of this review refers to: it breaks you and transforms you.

If it succeeds, some miraculous alchemy will help liberate the heart, which in our intellectual times is quite locked up.

So much media is adhd inducing, delusion inducing, or soulless entertainment.. Things that if wiped from the earth would be no loss, or maybe for the good.. its rare to come across something that literally makes you a better person.

I havent felt this way since the anime Pantheon..

7.4/10 IMO, there was a lot of good things in this short 1 hour act. For reference, I have probably listened to 6-10 episodes of his podcast.

Overall I am glad to have watched it, and dont regret the time. Though the act itself may be considered to be not completely comedy centric. I feel like this act was meant to be informative, enjoyable, educational, clearing, curiosity building... It feels like it could have used more work, been longer, more could have made more of the ground that was covered if it was continued.

I think this act belongs on Youtube, as it does a lot of good, it is good it exists.

Perhaps you can tell comedy is not quite calibrated when it is getting massive amounts of 1 stars, as is the case with the set, but it means it at least presses buttons, as giving it 1 star is infantile.
