I miss the Hallmark Hall of Fame movies, the ones with famous actors sprinkled throughout the cast and original plotlines that made each of those movies stand the test of time.

This movie was disappointingly familiar and dull because we have seen this plot before. I wish Hallmark movies would go back to fewer movies per year but more quality movies, with distinct plots that surprise and delight us while still keeping some element of a Christmas theme.

I know they can do this, because they did it for many years. I'm going back and watch some of the old Hallmark Hall of Fame movies this year.
