In all great movies there is a concept which is called as "match cut" or "Creative Transition". This event in the movie suddenly hits like a Battering Ram and sets up the whole movie, makes everything clear in an instant. It is like the ground is pulled off your feet in an instant and in that instant everything becomes crystal clear and you just enjoy the movie journey ahead .
One particular scene in this movie "Dashavtaar" achieves this transition perfectly.
The ending could have been better though. Which is were I think the movie failed at the Box Office.
But Overall Definitely a must watch movie.

It moved me to tears in the end. So much of the valor and courage from the Indian soldier's during the many wars has been lost or forgotten or even mistaken for recklessness. This movie is an example of the bravery of one such solider Sq/L Ajjamadda Bopayya Devayya.
It is not about Akshay Kumar and his patriotism but about a whole lot more. Beautifully written and wonderfully executed.
Also, the special effects and Graphics are spectacular for a bollywood movie.
What also surprised me was the execution. It wasn't over the top patriotic drama but a carefully and beautifully unwinding mystery that keeps the viewer hooked till the end.

That one scene where Santa and Rock board the Sleigh to return to the pole was beautiful. It wonderfully sets up this near perfect Christmas movie. It has Gryla, It has Krampus and a lot more winter myths spread perfectly in this Gorgeous Gem of a movie. The Rock , J. K Simmons, Chris Evans, Lucy Liu even the minor characters make this movie perfect. It is one of those Feel Good experiences that comes along once in a while. I Watched this during New Year's Eve, never expecting it to be this good, in the end I thought it was the perfect way to begin the New Year.
Do Give it a Try
A perfect family entertainer.
