The show has potential but when it strays away from Ben the main character it drops into some mediocre crappy acting WB drama that is just not interesting. There is a mystery there that has potential, but the truth is the writers think it's better than it really is. Ben leaping into different lives and resolving the issues doesn't feel like the show's primary purpose, which is a shame.
Also, the Actress that plays Addison is very bad and brings down the show. She is supposed to be a lynchpin to the show, but she is neither interesting nor entertaining she honestly has no charisma, instead, they leave that to Ben which means the character must do too much in the short time he's given.
In My opinion, focus less on the peripheral characters, get the two female leads some acting classes and make it fun.

The character of Mulan is boring and a super human living in a land of mortals. Even if this wasn't a "remake" it would still be a bad movie.
I was the edge of my seat the whole time. This movie had me and I didn't want it to let me go
