I was teen, about 14-15 years old, when I was buying a weekly magazine full of many comic stories - in episodes (each week we could read a bit more from the story and we were waiting the next week to continue)...
...ONE of those greate comic stories... was THIS HERE, the amazing "El Eternauta"!!!!! It was one of the first and most amazing sci-fi horror comics I ever read... and I never thought one day, when I will be a MIDDLE-AGE grown up man... I would watch this story as tv-series!!!
The show is VERY GOOD, it's almost IDENTICAL with the original comic story! Okay, few things a bit different, but I would say about 92% is almost identical - and VERY GOOD "transfered" from the drawing and balloon texts to the big screen!
Even that they chose to use Spanish and Argentina was amazing (exactly like the comic book), because "usually" they're changing a good story and always placing the plot to USA or something...
I know, for a lot folks it may looks strange for the first 2-3 (or more episodes), many won't understand what exactly is going on... but think about us, as teens, by reading a couple pages' plot... and we were WAITING the next week to follow the next episode... again and again! Think about HOW MANY WEEKS we've spend to realize EXACTLY what was the (amazing) plot of the story!
It's very good adaptation! Very rare you can see a good comic story that good in a movie or tv-series!

Seriously... Josh Hartnett agreed to play to such a SUPER HORRIBLE movie???
This movie looks like High School students did it. The script has more holes of... moon's surface! Only a 5 years old kid would wrote that silly script...
...And what about the incredibly SUPER bad screenplay??? Seriously, these people are PAID actors? I never watched SUCH A BAD movie! I stopped it around 50 minute, I couldn't continue any more - tv commercials are more interesting from that "thing"!
Don't waste a single second for this trush!
