Close it down, pleeeease; it should have been closed 14 episodes ago before it fell off the cliff.
"A gruesome final event," that should be the name of the final season.
At least viewers didn't have to go through the disappointment they feel during the last season of a show they love. The writers and producers created such a terrible show we are glad to see it close.

The Star Wars movies are and always will be a series of B-grade schlocky films helped along with a high budget. They have a cult following and as a result, fans often overlook the tired tropes, silliness and lack of substance, choosing instead to see the basic and banal as substantial and profound.
That said they are undoubtedly entertaining and they use the tropes better than perhaps any other B-grade film ever has. The good guys are likeable, heroic and virtually infallible. The villains wear black and are cartoonishly evil meanies. It is a classic universe spanning good vs bad melodrama. We know the good guys will win but the tension and drama along the way are often just enough to keep us hooked. And it helps us overlook its clear flaws and awkwardness and the spurious narrative and circumstances of the story.
The originals were always movies for nerdy teenagers. Those fans are now either older nerds who have continued to indulge in the fantasy of Star Wars as peak si fi or adults who are nostalgically reaching for their childhood embrace of the extravagance and melodrama of Star Wars.
The prequels and sequels have aimed to appeal to those same fans. And that is its undoing.
Balancing the series' B-grade schlocky roots with attempts to introduce something new or even mildly sophisticated is no easy feat. The Last Jedi tries to do this, but the weight of the franchise's legacy, combined with its sluggish pacing, unoriginal story and uninteresting characters, makes it feel bloated and heavy.
In the end, it's an over-engineered boring and forgettable film. And one can't help but think that it was primarily done to cash in.

What do you get when you put ten comedians in a room for 6 hours? Well, it seems not much and definitely not many laughs.
It is the sort of show that prior to streaming became a thing you would watch because you accidently put it on while you waited for Would I Lie To You to come on. But it is pretty forgettable and it is easy to skip over on your 'continue watching' list to something more interesting and engaging.
It is a pity it did not work. It had a good line up of comedians, if not great but not good enough to carry it. And it didn't really have too many laugh-out-loud moments for the comedians and less for the viewers.
