I had no idea of the problems this film had or that it sat languishing for six years before it saw the light of day... It popped up on Amazon Prime one dreary Sunday evening and I loved it... Alec Baldwin plays an OK part and Jennifer Love Hewit smolders as a deliciously devilish devil... Kim Catrell also plays her part well as does Dan Ackroyd but Anthony Hopkins in my opinion steals the show - He is head and shoulders above all of them... With a cast like this - How could it not be a great watch?!?

Had things been different I'm sure this could have been a launch pad to much greater things for Love Hewitt... Anyway this is in no way a one or three film... I think I gave it a nine because it needed to equal some of the other scores up... It's definitely better than 5.4 and I would thoroughly recommend it...

For once the trailer really doesn't do this film justice... The first ten minutes I was convinced this was a generic amazon/netflix story but it really isn't... It twists and turns in unimaginable ways... The three leads are excellent with Bryce keeping them all together... It's not 'Hot Fuzz' but it does have a couple of laugh out loud moments... It can seem slow in places but that's just to set up the next scene... I was pleasantly surprised and actually gave this film an 8... IMDb score is currently bubbling around 6.8... This is definitely at least a 7 film in my humble opinion... I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon had these three together in another film... As far as franchises go... I think it could work... I've certainly seen worse go to three or four films - Give it a go one evening - You won't be disappointed....
