I had to drive 70 miles round-trip to see this and it was very much worth it. I laughed a lot, teared up several times, and got to relive my youth and the music that came to define it. It was essentially the soundtrack of my life. I definitely appreciated this documentary and all who gave their time to be involved in it.
It wasn't Sandler's best film but like all of his films at least it was different. Sandler always comes up with unique storylines and, like his other movies, it was enjoyable and fun.
I'm not going to say anything about White Boy other than if you want to fill in the gaps and get more information after seeing "White Boy Rick" then "White Boy" is a must.
