This documentary gives some "behind the scenes" insight to the difficulties and complexities surrounding the issue of adopting children from Haiti, while offering insight in the day to day struggles of survival with the basic needs being food, water and shelter. I was impressed by the crowded quarters, the lack of sanitation, and the flies and heat.
I believe the introduction of Soledad Obrien and Anderson Cooper gives more credibility to the film although the film's director did a credible job in the story line and continuity of the scenes. I was also impressed by the lack of communication at the U.S. State Department level to clear the way for the children to immigrate to the United States.
