Problem with this series is toxic Evil Dead fans that can't be satisfied with nothing if Ash - Bruce Campbell is not in the movie. Bruce and Sam Raimi are involved in this movie as producers and they knew what tgey were doing when they hired Lee Cronin now and before Fede Alvarez for 2013 version. For example, Evil Dead series has a high rating on IMDB because fans got what they wanted. Ash as a main protagonist - but series deserve no attention like last two Evil Dead movies. Series was bland, uninteresting, boring gore fest.

Last two Evil Dead movies in my opinnion were far more superrior to old series...

Loved it so much because it made me laugh so much i palmost pissed my pants. Drama part was excellent too. Loved Christian Bale in it and Russel Crow as Zeus. This was the best comedy movie of 2022. Lots of people dont understand director Taika Waititi(Thor: Ragnarok, What We Do In The Shadows, Jo Jo Rabbit etc....) but he made very good comedy movie in it's own way, and that is probably the problem with Marvel fanatics. They dont understand it because they expected mindless action pavked with little humor.. You who gave it low rating, go for another try and watch the movie again. It is worth it..

This is masterpiece if you compare it to Dark Phoenix.

I really liked the horror theme of the movie. Didnt expect it to be something like that.. was expecting classic superhero mutant showdown but this was something different... In a good way :)
