John hughes wrote this 1991 romantic comedy and suprisingly it is the worst picture the late 80s legend was involved in , A rushed generic odd ball comedy that doesnt deliver the magic such as breakfast club, home alone , planes, trains and automobiles were and always will remembered for , The casting is also strange and out of place, you have a young beautiful jennifer connelly who i think is a great actress and appearances from competent actors like frank whaley and dermot mulroney who carnt save this below par comedy , Only a cameo appearance by the also late great john candy keeps you watching for the meanwhile, overall forgetable and i probably wont watch this flick again.

The 3rd sequel to the classic 1987 original horror film Hellraiser which is personally one of my favourite horror films of all time, the second - Hellbound (88) was decent but a bit flawed by the ending and the third film from 1992, Hell on earth was fun and tried to be different but still didnt lve up to the standard of the first two movies.

This 1996 4th addition could have been a lot better but still gets kudus for its premise the idea and story is pretty good especially the out of space concept and the origins of the infamous hell box , its nearly original for these movies but the picture is bogged down by a cheap budget, dull script and pretty bad acting, the gore is up there with the first two movies but with less effect and been more cheesy, this might be the last hellraiser flick i watch because the following direct to video sequels, i have heard are very poor and i havnt been in any hurry to view the recent remake either, this 4th film is average but only because of the budget and actors, doug bradley again as pinhead is the only notable performance in my opinion ,a missed opportunity but pinhead and his vicious hell hound steal the show, and probably safe the movie from been even worse.
