Have lost hope on AK. The three V's with Shiva have literally made to hate him for his script selection. The last liked movie was Yennai Arinthal. Valimai and Thunivu were kind of bits and pieces movie. When it came from H Vinoth i understood that it was AK who is clueless not putting any effort to get better out of himself even basics like get ups, looks or dialogue delivery
However in Vidaamuyarchi though still not upto Yennai Arinthal it was a good watch. Credit to Magizh. AK is still AK. He acts like he is all goodness and modern version of Maryadha Purushothaman Raman. Loves his wife even if she had an affair, Wastes his bullets, arrows only below the knee of goons and quite funny he never even attempts to kill the villian in the end the villian gets fed up of his begging " en manavi enga"and kills himself. AK's pureness of heart Kind of over kill. The one dialogue he attempt in the petro bunk is cringy and he was rightly called as boomer for that. Thankfully there is no transformation scenes or mass punch dialogue.
Overall a bearable movie from AK after a decade.

A very lame movie. The movie doesn't have any elevation for whole two and half hours. It's like a deadmans vital signs you see in the patient's monitor at the hospital. The only time may be two little spike happened was when Shine tom chacko counter comments like "Bossinte Shaddi" and "Kudachadri".
Suraj is ok but nothing much for him to do other than do kootukara calls, booze and frequent melodramas Asif plays a spoiled rich and his "Boss" calls and Suraj's "Kootukara" are in line to "Shiva" calls in Brahmastra. One word "Irritating"
It was told Suraj's mother is in critical care but neither much remorse shown by suraj nor there is such seriousness conveyed by her sister during their phone conversations.
Climax is cliche.

Typical tailor made story line for Mahesh Babu however we need to hear "100 viagra lu chesi shobanam" kinda dialogue which make the movie time to 3.5 hours or SJ suryah's scene would need to cut short.
Nani is much better here he performs with some cute expressions during family scenes, fights with vigour and gives more screen space to SJ suryah to perform.
SJ Surya was impressive as usual. The scene he imitates murali sharma classic.
Murali Sharma with his judgement was a humorous plot and the only time he was right alas!.
Harshvardhan was good too.
The problem is with story line showing the whole bunch of Sokulapalem people as spineless even after the little girls misery. Could have been handled better. The redemption chapter in the movie could have been better, it went flat unlike other chapters.
