Loved the 80s vibe, vhs, walkie talkies, babysitter alone in the house, sheriff on a mission to save the day before it's too late. All a fantastic setup for a great little slasher movie.

The set up was great. But the way it turns out in the last half hour was completely different.

You get the feeling while watching it that a lot of your opinion of the whole movie will depend on the payoff at the end. Will it be surprising? Clever?

Well i think it tried to be both, bit failed on both accounts. And when you look at the full reveal and lay it all out exactly what happened it makes no sense at all, why? Why was anyone doing what it was revealed they were doing?

Ok you can think well i don't understand why they did that but ok, but how?? How did anyone do what they did? So little makes sense

there was some real nice tension and suspense in the house i really liked up till the end, the ending isn't the worse but i just felt went against so much of the tense build up that was created before.

There wasn't much of a story really, not one that went anywhere anyway.

The main draw was like the others is trying to be a different type of zombie movie, the sound, the freeze frame kills and things were all fine but really isn't exactly genre breaking, and without a decent story it all felt a bit flat.

It had its moments, there were some decent scenes that had some tension which is what you want. But think it fell way short if you have any expectation with regards to the first movie especially.

Was not a fan of the strange ending at all, was like the movie fully crashed into a different kind of movie, can only assume is a reference to the comics which i've not seen but was def that kind of vibe and seemed very out of place and not really keen on watching the sequal.

It was the kind of movie that has a feel that something good would happen, something clever or unexpected, but it doesn't.

The story is so simple its actually too simple, and creates so many plot holes questionable actions.

It was all watchable, but the for me there was no payoff or feel anything was resolved, at the very least i thought there would be some satisfying revenge but i didn't even get that from it.

Was all watchable but just didn't land.
