I am a huge fan of David Mamet. He was required reading way back before he came to the silver screen.
This is probably his finest work. What better way to bring it to the movies than with this all-star cast? Pacino, Lemmon, Spacey, Arkin, Ed Harris, and Alec Baldwin! Fabulous.
The dialogue, and that's what makes this, is compelling. Sure, cursing is prominent, but the realism is needed to parse this tale of ethics in the business world.
For an office story, the action is quick. The story moves. Like all mysteries (if you are unfamiliar with the story), the characters are all suspects.
