You have to give credit where credit is due - Mariska Hargitay is absolutely amazing at her job. I can't help but see her as a cop and not an actress. When I watch Law & Order SVU - I don't see actors and actresses. I see cops. Law enforcement. I'm very impressed that ICE T has been here just as long as Mariska. They are a great team together. Everyone should have their work ethic - to be at any job this long is rare these days.
Huge pat on the back to everyone involved.
SVU has been in our lives for 26 years. 1999. I have seen every single episode and I still can't get enough. I look forward to each and every week with the same anticipation that I had 20 years ago. I dread the day this series comes to an end. I hope it isn't during my lifetime. Please don't let it be during my lifetime.
The BEST decision they ever made with this show was the format of each episode - making every episode a full case from start to finish. This means you can go back and watch older episodes easily and you are not lost as to what is going on there is no timeline you have to figure out.
This is where other shows fail - other show story lines drag on and on through their entire seasons. They have unneeded cliff hangers from episode to episode that are tiring. Having to wait a full week - every week for the next episode - only to find the episode was a complete waste of time and you got nowhere from the episode prior.
Law & Order isn't like that. Every single episode gives you closure. No cliff hangers. The acting is top-notch.
There is a reason Dick Wolf dominates NBC and CBS. All of his shows have been entertaining and you can tell lot of work goes into each episode. I thoroughly enjoyed Criminal Intent and Organized Crime. I'm glad to see the original Law & Order back. Organized Crime would be even better if there were more crossovers with Liv and Elliott. Are they going to finally put these two together?

I cannot believe I watched this. Everyone in this series and behind this series should be embarrassed. Didn't they care about making a series of any quality? How how how did this get funding and how were they able to get it streamed? Must be based on views and I'm upset I added to the view count.
The acting isn't just awful, it is cringeworthy. Every single actor, and I mean every one, seems like they took the worst of the worst audition - gave them the part and they all worked for free. Felt like I was watching a middle school play. I am not kidding.
The main "actress"? Seems like she was approached in Walmart and they said "hey we are doing a series - want to be on television? It isn't a paid job but you'll get to be on TV. Go home and pack a suitcase of what you want to wear on TV and meet us at this hotel. You and your suitcase will star in it. Oh and pick a wig before you leave the store - we don't have anyone to do hair and makeup." I can visualize her abandoning her full cart of items in the middle of the store and walking out with the approachers wig in hand.
It's that bad. Just bad. I'm ticked off for wasting my time watching it and giving the series another "view"
Really britbox? Surely you pay any of these people for streaming this?
Hey grab your iPhone - let's make a miniseries. Anyone can do it these days apparently.
