Like the title said this is great, all the positive comments you read about this show are true. The setting, the script, the acting everything is on high level but the main actor he carries the entire show, everyone else are good don't get me wrong, but Sam is really amazing in this everytime he is on the screen you have a feel of determination and resolve to do what he is set from the beginning. Also the actor that plays Jacopo is really good, I think most people have read and by now know the story about Count of Monte Cristo, so you can't be much surprised about it but the execution of this with everyone playing their roles nicely is what really hits the mark with this one. If you like book adaptations, if you like historic series, if you like great acting you should watch this, 8 episodes really flew by so fast even though each lasts almost an hour.

I wished for a sequel so bad even though it makes no sense to make it, since it was really finished nicely but everyone did such a great job that I was hoping for more episodes. I can't recommend this show enough.

This is by far the most generic movie I have ever seen, honestly everthing about this movie looks like AI made it. The story, the script, the actors, the "plotline", locations, dialogs everything is painfully generic. Like fast food and don't get me wrong I like fast food but not for every meal. This is your typical Netflix heist movie the only thing missing was Rock or Gal Gadot and I would say I've watched this already. It's so predictable there is no point in watching it, I get it don't expect Netflix to make meaningful movie and this is supposed to be a mindless movie to begin with but man was this bad. Literally watch anything else I'm not joking watch anything else, why I watched this on Saturday evening is beyond me, but I did so hopefully no one else has to. When you think people actually put some effort and a lot of money for this to be made then it's even worse, the only possitive thing about this is shoots of Venice and London that's it literally that's it nothing else about this movie is worth anyone's attention. If you watched Red Notice or Heart of Stone or 6 Underground that's it it's all the same, same movie just some different actors. Bottom line is watch anything else.
