Please suspend all disbelieves for the entirety of this movie. I was wondering how it was approved to be made.
The message i take from this movie is lie out of your ass on your resume and hope qualified people don't notice ?
To state your a fighter pilot when you have never flown a plane before, then blag it when your in the cockpit. Get found out and the pilot just shrugs it of like a bad ingredient...WTF it was clear they had absolutely not technical advisers on set to check anything was even the slightest bit realistic. To the point the action scene were cartoonish and gravity was irrelevant.
The love interest was like watching a brother and sister try and sleep together. The supporting cast was irrelevant to most of the "story" line and provided absolutely no comic relief.
The diversity casting was a tickly box exercise.. white protagonist CHECK..asain BFF check...black leading lady CHECK... white love interest CHECK... second asian female supporting cast CHECK.. overweight indian female supporting cast CHECK and so on.

I'm being incredibly generous giving this "movie" a three.
Brice Dallas Howard looks like Adele, has eaten Brice Dallas Howard. Henry Cavill plays Austin Powers wearing enough velvet to power a small seaside town.
Sam Rockwell was about the only saving grace. What was Sam L Jackson and Brian Cranston thinking when they signed their contracts. I didn't see the point of John Cena being in the movie?
The movie was so boring that i fell asleep several times during the action scenes and had to keep going back on the time slider in prime to rewatch just encase i might have missed something worthwhile. PLus i paid my 14.99 to rent the movie and didn't want to waste it.
This whole movie could have been compressed into 60 minutes and still had the same action and "comedy". If you enjoyed the trailer. Thats the best bits of the dragged out 2+ hours play time.
The whole movie could have been a continuation of auston powers without the laughs. I'm finding it difficult to say anything remotely positive !

I hate it when budget production companies spend more money on filming in cinema quality resolution than compromising and spending some of the budget on semi known actors who have the ability to act instead of unknowns who try there hardest not to look like there regurgitation a script and actively trying to ignore the camera filming them.
Sort of breaking the forth wall without intending to break the forth wall.
After 10 minutes i had to look up the cast because i couldn't work out how the female love interest was dead one minute and pregnant the next because you can't keep track of the flashbacks and can't work out what is present day ?
I learned there were two female love interests. Both look incredibly similar. One had a hard time maintaining an american accent and her Australian accent poked through often.
