I've seen people comparing this movie to the Bourne trilogy, which is ridiculous. Will is just your average guy pulled into an extraordinary situation. This is more like Guns Akimbo or Collateral, where an average person with no special skills is trying to figure out what's going on and they keep getting deeper and deeper into an awful situation. Nowhere does Will exhibit some super human fighting skills, he's just flying by the seat of his pants most times. I do wish the movie had more Bruce Willis but this was a movie to showcase Cavill. The ending is the only part that bothers me but I won't go into detail and spoil it. Overall, I liked it and it felt believable for what it was.
This movie doesn't let you see Dracula, it's more from the point of view of those he affects, though Mina and Jonathan Harker are not included. The story isn't a new telling but the multiple 1 star reviews on this movie show that obviously none of them have ever seen a truly bad movie. It wasn't the best Dracula movie I've ever seen, but I was entertained and felt the acting was actually good. The overall rating of 3.5 is absolutely ridiculous and completely unfounded.
