'The Roses' is a dark comedy about a couple who start falling apart.

The movie is based on a 1989 movie as well as a book, and is heavily armed with an all-star cast. Therefore, the performances were excellent and probably the only good part of the movie.

The rest was a mess, with no pace and an awkward ending that felt too sudden. The humour was also not that great.

'Skeleton Crew' is not an essential Star Wars series, but it's an enjoyable one. It's enjoyable both for adults and children, it has a nice progression, and the characters are enjoyable as well.

The performances were also great by everyone in the cast, especially the kids.

The twists were interesting too. And the SGI is nice enough.

'Dangerous Minds' is a movie about a teacher with different teaching techniques who tries to get through her difficult class.

The story is enjoyable, first of all, but it's too formalistic. You'll find the stereotypes of students and racial discrimination that you could find in any 1990s school movie.

Also, the pace was too quick, and everything happened too fast. Hence, the development was not smooth or organic.

Still, the performances were enjoyable.
