  • Overrated series but important subject of domestic abuse

Let me start by saying I do like the fact that the series is talking about emotional abuse, your actions towards others may affect them in a negative way, even if you don't feel like you are doing something.

The empathy in this movie is all revolved around the main character.

Her perspective on things, and her struggle to overcome a pre-set agenda.

The world is out to get her, she made poor decisions when she was young, and we as the audience have to forgive her because she is a victim.

The steps of overcoming her situation are correct, work hard, get help, be independent. But in this series it focuses on how she is unfortunate, how nobody of her family has her back, how she is the only responsible one and everyone else is a luggage to carry or have a conflict with. Which is a narcissistic point of view, but makes sense in the message wanted to portray.

I really dislike the fact in the series how they have a polarity of men in her life, how she chose the hot guy and made a mistake but figured it out later, and now we should have understanding for her. The other guy she manipulated and used, but we should have understanding that she has no feelings for him even though he provides for her.

We should all treat each other with respect and listen to each other, and realize words affect our relationships, and that message I like.

Many of the outcomes are predictable, and her poor decision making is a part of that, she is part of the problem too.

Young and stupid is just not an excuse, realize that your actions have consequences and if a situation like this occurs where you are abused, you need to make action and make better decisions later in life.

    6 out of 10.

  • Decent comedy, nothing more or less

    College. Parties. Primitive humor.

You have seen it already, in a lot of movies, but there is nothing wrong with that.

The movie has an unique twist to it. And it is frankly quite entertaining in its own way.

I love the whole idea behind it, because I'm sure a lot of people get in the same situation when it comes to college. Some go, some don't, but this movie gives a cool "fantasy" aspect that can be only done in movies.

Watch it if you want to chill around, and have a few laughs.

  • Realistic view of Socialist countries

If you are in one of those foreign movies phases, I would recommend watching this.

It has its depth, and its completely realistic.

People living under a socialist regime, are brought to the belief that their country is protecting them.

They trust the government in everything, and the ones that think differently are evil, and should be removed.

This movie is a portrait of the bad aspects of living in a Socialist country. There are good things I'm sure, but don't expect them in this movie.

7 out of 10, not really for the masses, but for people that can understand how it is living under constant pressure.
