I've read the book and watched the film and read the book. First of all i like films more than books. I thought this was a nice movie, and good easy to watch . I liked the way the story was filmed. Although i thought the book was a bit strange. In the film, there was more fun than in the book, and i also think that's because i don't have a fantasy to create my own vision of the story. With a film I can. A think that i don't like is that in movies not everything can be filmed. In a book it can, so there is more fantasy in it. The movie doesn't show everything that happens in the book. Like the Christmas evening. When Marcus got a CD and a CD-player, in the book he only got a CD. The characters of the film were chosen good. Marcus was the smart little guy, Will was the enthusiastic, a bit strange and friendly person and Fiona the desperate mother who was always crying. I liked the movie more than the book, because i don't like to read and the movie was clear and good.
