If you know Gotham then you know its dark and what to expect from a movie that takes place in Gotham. Dark and gritty from the mind of Snyder. I loved the movie! it was not your everybody's invincible with nothing to loose type of movie. Snyder had to stuff everything into one film and did so successfully. Now, it was long drawn but for very good reason. There was lots to be told...and if he didn't do so then the critics would have found something else to complain about. Hats off the Jesse for proving the critics wrong..That kid killed Lex's role. I mean he really did a great job. There's lots of action and the ending was well worth the wait. If you watched the last superman movie and you complained...Or if you don't like dark stuff then don't watch this movie. No reason to go see it and then complain about it because you're so use to seeing the pleasantness of the Avengers. This was for the hardcore fans. Thanks Zack.

This movie is bad ass! This is a classic Kung Fu style cinema with a modern day MMA influence. The subject matter is religious based (dogma,indoctrination) and coincides with the persecution of the Buddhist monks in China. It also incorporates the invasion of the Japanese in China. It may be a touchy subject for some but I took it for what it is...a fighting movie. There were your usual cheesy scenes that you would find in any Kung Fu movie but it wasn't too bothersome. The movie had a great musical score and the over dubs were not bad at all, except for the annoying kids. I highly recommend this movie if you're a fight fan or enthusiast. 7/10
