OK, here we go. You can safely say that this movie is where stupidity meets idiocy, come on
There is no doubt that Sasha is a good comedian, and actually not so bad actor (see Hugo from Scorsese and Alice). The thing is his comedies always goes overboard, and this one, OMG, it is a record breaker for the number of stupidities
and actually lots of non-necessary and gross scenes. What makes me wonder is how an actor get along with the sketches he does, it is so implicating, I mean, don't they worry with law-suit? Anyway, you can actually watch, but don't waste your money watching it on a big screen, wait for cable, and make sure to have your remote control handy, you are going to need it
.
Saturday, hot autumn afternoon, there I was looking for an entertainment, so, why not Cabin in the Woods, it was right there totally available
What i am going to say next it is not for those who are into blodily movies. ...40 minutes into the movie, and they lost it, the rest I fast forwarded and the question remained: Why do they make movies such as this one? What a terrible taste and waste of resources, really
I wish I could ask Sigourney Weaver and Richard Jenkins if they ever watched the movie after they had shot all their scenes, I doubt very much so
I wish I knew what it takes for a well-known, and actually good actor chose the film they will be in it. In a movie such as this one, maybe they did it for money, there isn't any other explanation
You can say that Cabin in the Woods is the meeting point between ridiculous and nasty; a bloodily bad taste in horror movies.
Well, if you are into just entertainment, and so into make sense detail kind of thing, so this is the movie for you. I saw it, and immediately came to mind my mind another movie Face/Off. This one the story is somewhat similar, to frustrate an extortion plot, an agent dies and his memories, secrets, and as well his skills are implanted into someone else, a casted away death-row criminal; all they hoped was for this man to finish the dead agent mission
Yes, Ryan Reynolds again, I think he does have some kind of difficult in choosing his roles, you could say it again, a talent that slowly is being wasted
On the other hand, Kevin Costner tries really hard to play a badass criminal, but the result was something like his role in Robin Hood, goodness grace, give me a brake
Anyhow, overall it isn't such a bad movie, like I said, pure entertainment, with a good taste of location, and a very well elaborated shots sequence
