Just watched Season 2 opener and looks like it's going to get very interesting.
Watched the last episode of Season 1 the other day just to prepare for the opener of Season 2.
Watching the last episode of Season 1 reminded me how good this show it. I recall one episode was banned in the US for it's violent and nasty content. But every episode it pretty near the mark.
Don't like giving spoilers way in my reviews and this is no different.
I understand this a network show in the US so free to all to watch without subscription, so jump on board and start watching it.
We all know the story of Hannibal Lector, but this show has no bearing on the movies other than he's an intelligent, charming person who so happens to commit the most brutal of murders. And in this show they are brutal.
Don't be put off by the actors who some may already dislike. I wasn't a big fan of Gillian Anderson, but since watching her in Bleak House, Hannibal & The Fall love her dearly.
As said at the start Season 2 is going to heat up, and a preview of episode 2 shows no sign of that changing.
Miss this show at your peril, it's a million miles ahead of the dross True Detective that everyone is raving about.

Absolutely love this show. I was a late comer to this and watched Season 1 in 3 days.
I was still having Breaking Bad blues and really finding it hard to watch anything, then thought haven't tried HoC. I don't do political dramas, but do do Kevin Spacey, so gave it a go and it has been a really joy. The perfect tonic to wash away those BB blues.
Robin Wright is the perfect wife and utterly gorge in this, and thoroughly deserved her Golden Globe.
Netflix are onto a winner, not just the show, but releasing all the episodes in one hit. The future of TV viewing is upon us.
Well worth a visit if you have Netflix and looking for a new show to get your teeth into, you can watch both seasons before the amazing Game of Thrones returns.
God it's cold in The North.

Yes a bold statement, but trust me I have watched loads of TV shows over the years.
Sopranos, Six feet Under, The Wire, The Shield, BSG, Game of Thrones, you know where I'm going.
Great TV shows all of them, but BB is the show that tops them all. The characters from season 1 to Season 5.2 change and develop so much, more than any show I've watched in the past.
And if you love cliff hanger endings, it seems every episode ends on one.
You've never seen anything like it in your life. An utterly amazing piece of work that has left a massive hole in my life.
You need BB in your life, that's all I'm saying.
PS. One crumb of comfort, Gus is in Revolution!!
