After the misstep that was the most recent Captain America, this was brilliant. It was also brilliant in its own right. The script by Bo Jack and Bear alumni Joanna Calo fair crackled with fractious one liners and beautifully tackled the experience of a person experiencing the extreme ups and downs of bipolar disorder.
Make no mistake though. Florence Pugh is the star of this film and her character Ylena is the beating heart of the 'New' Avengers. I am very much hoping to see her squaring off against Deadpool. Loved it.

Star Trek has always been known for dealing with real world issues in its stories and this episode is an excellent example of this. Taking a story from the perspective of a documentary maker with an agenda and then slowly shaping it into what is actually happening, is a beautiful example of how modern media distorts the world we live in depending on it's agenda. Interestingly this isn't a lesson the very young need to learn but actually the boomer generation and to a certain extent some of my fellow Gen Xers.
The premise of this series is fun. A bunch of dumb bros walk around haunted places. However it very quickly becomes irritating.
They ask a question, get an answer and then immediately s***t themselves and shout over everything. Why did they even bother asking?
They wave various bits of dubious tech around and if they get a reading. They s***t themselves and shout a lot.
They see a ghost and they s***t themselves and run away.
In short, zero scientific investigation, zero evidence gathered due to not being able to stop shouting and a whole lot of guys s***ing themselves. Franky, you may as well eat a load of chillies and do it yourself.
