Not only do you get premium entertainment in all categories, but a bonus on how childhood trauma (the past) can be brought into the present or future & rob you of reality, not to mention that it is addictive, affecting your beliefs, conduct & outcomes too. We get all the role models here that a viewer can identify with acting out their cause & effect which captures the viewer quite well. Worth noting that the laed actress has everything a woman could want but doesn't know that she does because no one stands up to her & those that give it a shot are removed from her world. Sad to watch a person making a prison of their life only to end up the prisoner sort of like what you might see in the Rod Serling Twilight Zones. Also worth seeing is decent people who tolerate & practice patience & then, when pushed to the edge of their being, establish boundaries & enforce them. This is also referred to as comeuppance to the person that pushes others to the limit. Karma applies as well. This movie should be shown in High School sort of a heads up on don't do this. As I watched this movie play out, I kept wondering if the main character would stop, assess, repent & then behave. Perhaps you will too.
First off, Sean Bean rules so enjoy him as he goes through all the acting moves. As to the movie itself, it has quality i.e. Enough for you to watch & finish the movie however, you will be surprised at some of the outcomes in the plot at times. He is referred to as a secret agent yet I believe I saw a few scenes that 007, Gray Man or Extraction Tyler Rake would have handled better. Reminds me of the common rescue scenes where if they made you a prisoner, then all hope of rescue will fail. So it is with certain scenes which I will not name as they are E-Z to spot. There is also I don't care too much for which is going from past to present & past again as if you don't pay attention, are we in the past or the present visits with you. Recommend a watch & I also commend the ending which is twisty & satisfying. Entertainment does that.
